LA SVAIFF 2026 Releases Run of Show for Nov. 1 Beverly Hills Ceremony… SVAIFF KOREA 2026 Advisor Dr. Hoyoung Lee Joins Panel

The awards ceremony of LA SVAIFF 2026, the Los Angeles edition of the Silicon Valley AI Film Festival, will take place on Sunday, November 1 (local time) from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Saban Theatre in Beverly Hills. According to the run of show released by the organizers, the evening opens with a red carpet and film screenings, followed by opening remarks, four keynote speeches, two panel discussions and a screening of selected films, before closing with the awards and a group photo.

The first panel, at 5 p.m., covers investment, AI-native production, brand strategy and IP innovation, and Dr. Hoyoung Lee, an advisor to SVAIFF KOREA 2026, joins as a panelist to bring the voice of the Korea competition. The second panel, at 6:10 p.m., turns to creative expression and culture, AI governance and advanced AI technology.

The keynote speakers include a UCLA ethnomusicologist and documentary filmmaker, a company executive who previously served in the U.S. federal government, and founders of AI creative companies, while a cyber fashion show, a guzheng performance, a vocal performance and an evening gown show fill the breaks — a stage where film and performance meet.

The Saban Theatre opened in September 1930 as the Fox Wilshire Theatre, an Art Deco movie palace designed by architect S. Charles Lee. It became a live performance venue in 1980 and was listed on the U.S. National Register of Historic Places in 2012, and today it is one of Beverly Hills’ leading cultural venues, with a steady program of concerts and shows.

The LA competition is a separate event run by the U.S. organizer and is connected to the Seoul competition through the SVAIFF global network. The 50 winning works of the Korea competition advance to the Silicon Valley global final in January 2027 (the host covers the evaluation fee for the 19 prize winners; the 31 Global Final Encouragement Award winners pay their own).

Supported by Co-Chair JI LIN, SVAIFF KOREA 2026 and the Global AI IDOL Award 2026 are public-interest events with no participation fees, no paid seats and no sales, and both entry and admission are free. They will be held on Thursday, December 17 at Gabin Art Hall in Samseong-dong, Seoul, and entries are accepted from October 25 to November 25 at korea.svaiff.com.
